Mindfulness Workshop for Cultivating Presence & Awareness in Daily Life
The SC-ST Students' Cell, IIT Bombay is organizing an online mindfulness workshop to help participants cultivate presence and awareness in daily life.
The session will be delivered by Dr. Lalit Khandare, Associate Professor at Pacific University Oregon, USA. His work focuses on domestic violence, global social work, and human rights.

Two-Day Soft Skills & Corporate Leadership Workshop
The SC/ST Students’ Cell, IIT Bombay, successfully organized a Two-Day Soft Skills & Corporate Leadership Workshop at LT103 on 8th & 9th November 2025. The workshop was conducted by distinguished industry professionals, Mr. Sridhar Rammurthy and Ms. Sree Lata Shankar.
The sessions focused on strengthening communication skills, building confidence, and cultivating a leadership mindset essential for placements and corporate success. Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-world examples, students gained valuable insights into workplace expectations and professional development.

UG-PG Orientation Program 2025 on 30th July
The SC/ST Students’ Cell, IIT Bombay, is organizing an interactive session on 30th July 2025 at LH101. The event will feature Prof. Kedare (Director, IIT Bombay), Dr. Milind Kamle (Founder Chairman, DICCI; Chairman, BoG – IIM Jammu), and Prof. Doolla (Dean, Students Affairs, IIT Bombay).
The session will provide insights into life at IIT Bombay and highlight the scholarships, mentorship programs, and initiatives offered by the SC/ST Students’ Cell to support students in their academic and professional journey.

Commemorating Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, the SC-ST Students’ Cell invites the institute community to a special lecture on “Ambedkar and Nationalism.” The talk by Prof. A. Ramaiah will explore Dr. Ambedkar’s profound impact on social justice, democracy, and nation-building.
